Nocchione

Nocchione has a very vigorous root system and may be useful in poor soil conditions. Crops well but the kernels do tend to develop mould in damp climates,  The nut has a thick shell and low percent kernel.  The kernel has a light fibre covering but blanches well. Nocchione is a good roasting nut.
